Herbert J. Theisen graduated from Loyola University on June 7, 1962 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He graduated from Northwestern University Law School on June 12, 1965 with a Juris Doctor Degree. Mr. Theisen was admitted to practice by the Illinois Supreme Court on November 18, 1965 and by the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois on December 21, 1965. Subsequently, he was admitted to practice by the United States Supreme Court on May 1, 1975.
Mr. Theisen is a member of the American Bar Association, the Illinois Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. He has been a member of the law firm of Tews, Theisen & Theisen since 1965 where he is currently the senior partner. He has many years of experience representing individuals and corporations, particularly with probate and trust administration, real estate, and corporate law. He has received the highest rating of AV Preeminent from Martindale-Hubbell.
